What is Remind?
Remind is what we use for school-wide communication from administration and teachers to families. It is important that you download the app and connect to our school and your student's homeroom classroom to stay up to date on what is happening at The Park!
Getting Started:
Download the Remind App from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store depending on your device.
Create an account with your cell phone number and email. (Try and use what you submitted on your WVEIS form. It may identify you and allow you to "claim" the account created for you by MCS.)
Please do not share accounts with a family member. Create your own account and you can both be linked to the school and your student's classroom.
Add School & Join A Class:
To add a school:
Go under "settings" find "Organizations" and add "Mylan Park Elementary."
If you have students at multiple schools you can add other schools this way too.
To connect to a student:
Go under "settings" find "Family Members" and search for your student.
To connect to your student's homeroom classroom:
Click "Add Class" and "Join An Existing Class." From here you can search by teacher name to find the specific "Homeroom" classroom.
Click "Request To Join" and wait for teacher approval.
